Dune London Luxury Handbag Campaign
Dune, a London-born, globally worn brand founded in 1992, came to Plenty to create a series of animated pieces to showcase the Dune London Bug, a distinctive detail that accompanies the brand's handbags and other accessories in its premium collection.
We were commissioned to make three pieces. For this one we imagined the birth of the bug: the union of metal and shiny stones by the hand of some unseen goldsmith.
We see the unfolding of the bug wings and its journey through an almost fantasy city enviroment: silvery water and distant lights. Finally, we see it land in a burgundy quilted leather handbag.
This was a very rewarding project, from the very first concept to the final touches.
